After working in the industry for 2 years in the UK and 5 years in France the time was right to take the plunge. Phil fell in love with what you all know as Etang Rapide on first glance, although from the outset it was a shadow from you all see today. Taking a lake on that is off-grid, overgrown and not well known saw a challenge that Phil was up too.

Fast forward in the journey and the reputation that has now been established for being not only somewhere you can come and catch some stunning fish but be looked after and given that personal treatment is what its all about. Passion is a phrase that gets used to describe the entire mindset.

Obsessed with catching carp, figuring out what the next tactic will be, seeing anglers catch PBs and watching his water babies growing and developing is what it’s all about. Phil is an angler that knows what anglers want and by putting the anglers needs and wants first is what makes it all worthwhile.
